Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 March 2026  ·  Triage.club

⚠ Draft — pending solicitor review

This page is a draft and must not be published or relied upon until reviewed by a qualified solicitor. Before this site goes live, these terms must be reviewed and finalised by a solicitor familiar with SaaS business models, subscription billing, and UK/international consumer and business law.

Items marked in [SQUARE BRACKETS] require confirmation before publication.

§ 1

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Triage.club or by continuing to use the Service after these Terms have been updated, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Triage on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organisation.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Service and close your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, in line with UK GDPR age requirements. The Triage Students programme is available to users aged 18 and over with a valid academic email address.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email. Your continued use of the Service after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you may cancel your account before the change takes effect.

§ 2

Description of Service

Triage.club ("Triage", "we", "us", "the Service") is an outbound preparation tool for sales professionals. You upload a CSV of contacts, and Triage validates email addresses, researches companies, and generates signal-driven hooks and pre-call briefs to help you prepare for outreach. The AI does the research; you decide what to say.

The Service uses artificial intelligence (currently powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate research outputs. These outputs are informational aids, not verified facts. Triage does not send emails or make calls on your behalf. Triage is a preparation tool, not an outreach automation platform.

Feature availability may differ between free and paid plans. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan you are subscribed to, we will give you reasonable notice.

Certain actions are always free and do not consume credits: CSV upload, MX-record checks, domain scraping, and CRM push.

§ 3

Account Registration

To use Triage, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at legal@triage.club.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it if anything changes. You may not impersonate another person or entity, or use a false name or email address.

Accounts on the Free, Pro, and Team plans are intended for use by the registered individual. On Team and Business plans, the account owner may invite additional team members (up to the seat limit for that plan). Each team member must have their own login. Account credentials may not be shared with anyone outside of your organisation.

You may not transfer or sell your account to another person or entity without our prior written consent.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see also Section 10 below).

§ 4

Free Tier and Paid Plans

Triage offers the following plans:

Free — £0/month. 100 credits per billing cycle. Single user.

Pro — £29/month. 250 credits per billing cycle. Single user.

Team — £79/month. 2,000 shared credits per billing cycle. Up to 5 seats.

Business — £199/month. 8,000 shared credits per billing cycle. Up to 20 seats. Includes custom CRM field mapping.

Enterprise — Custom pricing and terms. Contact us for details.

All paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then and will not be charged again.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, BACS Direct Debit, and SEPA Direct Debit. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the outstanding amount is settled.

You may upgrade your plan at any time. The new plan takes effect immediately and you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

[REFUND POLICY: Confirm with solicitor. Proposed approach — no refunds for partial billing periods, subject to consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and any applicable cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.]

§ 5

Credits — Allocation and Expiry

Credits are the unit of usage on Triage. One credit is consumed each time you perform one of the following actions: generate a pre-call brief, verify an email address, or run an enrichment on a contact. Certain actions are always free and never consume credits: CSV upload, MX-record checks, domain scraping, and CRM push.

Plan credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle. Unused plan credits do not roll over — they reset to zero at the start of the next cycle.

Top-up credits can be purchased separately at any time: £9 for 100 credits, £19 for 300 credits, or £39 for 750 credits. Top-up credits never expire and are used only after your plan credits for the current cycle have been exhausted.

Referral credits are awarded when someone signs up using your referral link — 50 credits per successful referral. Referral credits expire at the end of the calendar month in which they are awarded and do not roll over.

Student credits — users with a valid academic email address (e.g. @*.ac.uk, @*.edu) receive 3x the standard free-tier allocation (150 credits/month). The student programme is available to users aged 18 and over. Student credits follow the same no-rollover rules as plan credits.

On Team and Business plans, credits are shared across all seats on the account. The account owner can view credit usage per team member in the dashboard.

Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts, refunded, or exchanged. If your account is closed or downgraded, any unused plan credits are forfeited. Purchased top-up credits remain available if you later reactivate or re-upgrade your account [CONFIRM: retention period for top-up credits on closed accounts].

§ 6

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Triage only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following uses are expressly prohibited:

Spam and unsolicited messaging. You may not use Triage outputs to send unsolicited bulk email, messages, or communications in violation of applicable law, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), CAN-SPAM Act, or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction.

Unlawful data processing. You may not upload or process personal data through Triage in a manner that violates the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or any other applicable data protection law. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process any personal data you upload.

Circumventing limits. You may not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits, use automated means to bypass usage limits, or otherwise attempt to circumvent the credit system or any technical restrictions.

Reverse engineering. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service, including our AI models, prompts, or algorithms.

Reselling and scraping. You may not resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service or its outputs. You may not use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to extract data or content from the Service.

Harassment and harmful use. You may not use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any person, or to facilitate any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated this section. No refund or credit will be issued in such cases.

§ 7

Intellectual Property

Our platform. Triage.club, including its software, design, branding, logos, and all underlying technology, is owned by [TRIAGE ENTITY NAME] and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our brand, marks, or proprietary technology.

Your data. You retain full ownership of any data you upload to Triage, including contact lists, CSV files, and CRM data. We do not claim any ownership rights over your uploaded content.

Licence to us. By uploading data to Triage, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process that data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. This licence terminates when you delete the data or close your account.

AI-generated outputs. Pre-call briefs, hooks, and other content generated by Triage's AI are produced for your use. You may use, edit, and distribute these outputs freely in connection with your business activities. We do not claim exclusive ownership over AI-generated outputs. However, because AI outputs may be similar for different users researching the same companies, we cannot guarantee that outputs are unique to you, and we do not warrant that they are free from third-party intellectual property claims.

Feedback. If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you agree that we may use this feedback freely without any obligation or compensation to you.

§ 8

Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it carefully.

When you upload contact data (such as prospect lists) and Triage processes that data on your behalf, Triage acts as a data processor under UK GDPR. You remain the data controller and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process the personal data you provide to us. [CONFIRM WITH SOLICITOR: Whether a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is required and should be made available for download.]

We will process your uploaded data only in accordance with your instructions (i.e., to deliver the Service) and will not use it for our own independent purposes. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data you entrust to us. For details on our security practices, see our Trust Centre and Security pages.

Our AI processing is currently powered by Anthropic's Claude. Your uploaded data may be sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy and Anthropic's usage policy.

If you connect a CRM integration (Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce), we access only the data necessary to push briefs and enrichment results to your CRM. We do not bulk-download or store your CRM data beyond what is needed for the integration to function.

§ 9

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service provided "as is". The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI accuracy. Triage uses artificial intelligence to generate research outputs, briefs, and hooks. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI output. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it or using it in outreach.

Availability. We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. No service-level agreement (SLA) applies to the Free plan. [CONFIRM: Whether paid plans include an SLA or uptime commitment.]

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you are on the Free plan and have paid nothing, our maximum liability to you is [CONFIRM: e.g., £100 or £0].

No consequential loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015. [SOLICITOR: Please review all limitation and exclusion clauses for compliance with UCTA 1977 and CRA 2015, particularly where the user is a consumer.]

§ 10

Termination

By you. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. If you are on a paid plan, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods, but no partial refund will be issued for the remainder of the current cycle.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have materially breached these Terms (including the Acceptable Use policy in Section 6), engaged in fraudulent activity, or failed to pay outstanding fees. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable prior notice.

Effect of termination. Upon account closure (whether by you or by us), your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any unused plan credits and referral credits are forfeited. Purchased top-up credits are forfeited unless your account is reactivated within 30 days [CONFIRM: reactivation window for top-up credits].

Data deletion. We will delete your account data within 30 days of account closure, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. This includes uploaded CSVs, generated briefs, and any personal data associated with your account. For full details on data retention, see our Privacy Policy.

Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability), 11 (Governing Law), and any accrued payment obligations.

§ 11

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [ENGLAND AND WALES — CONFIRM WITH SOLICITOR]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [ENGLAND AND WALES].

If you are a consumer based in the UK or EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms overrides those rights.

[SOLICITOR: Confirm whether a dispute resolution clause (e.g., mandatory mediation before litigation) is appropriate. Consider whether separate jurisdiction terms are needed for international users or whether a jurisdiction-selection clause is preferable.]

Need compliant terms of service?

We recommend Termly (termly.io) or iubenda (iubenda.com) to generate jurisdiction-appropriate terms for SaaS products. Always have any generated terms reviewed by a qualified solicitor before publishing — particularly the sections covering credits, data processing, and limitation of liability.
