What members say

"I prepped 40 contacts in the time it used to take me to research 3. The hooks actually land — I had a reply within 20 minutes of sending the first email."

"Finally something that doesn't try to replace me. I want to know what to say — I'll decide how to say it. Triage gets that."

"The signal cards are the bit I didn't expect. Knowing they just posted a hiring role for ops told me exactly what pain angle to lead with."

Why Triage

Automation floods inboxes.
Preparation wins deals.

The market is drowning in AI-generated cold emails. Prospects can tell. Open rates are falling. Reply rates are worse.

A rep who sends 20 genuinely personalised emails — referencing a real hiring signal, a funding round, a homepage message — beats someone sending 2,000 automated ones. Every time.

What we found
Homepage updated recently — new copy: "scaling operations without headcount"
Hiring: 2 Operations Manager roles posted this week
Blog: "How we cut onboarding time by 40%" — published 9 days ago
Domain active · MX confirmed · mailbox unverified
Email hooks — pick one
Timing: They just updated homepage copy around scaling ops. Lead with their own words.
Growth: Two ops hires live right now — they're building, not cutting. That's your window.
Pain: "Without headcount" is the constraint they named themselves. That's your in.
Call openers
"I noticed Meridian just updated how you talk about scaling ops — wanted to ask how that's going."
"You're hiring two ops managers right now — are you also looking at the tools underneath the team?"

Built honestly

We tell you
what we know.

No fabricated signals. No invented confidence scores. Triage is useful because it's accurate — not because it sounds impressive.

Domain accepts email
We run an MX record lookup. If the domain has mail servers configured, we confirm it. A real DNS check, not a guess.
Company describes itself as...
We fetch their public homepage. The brief uses their actual words — not a generic industry category.
Mailbox confirmed (paid tier)
ZeroBounce SMTP check on paid tiers. Confirmed = confirmed. Catch-all domain = we tell you that too.
We don't claim the mailbox exists on free tier
MX check ≠ mailbox check. We say so clearly. The paid tier upgrade is what adds that confirmation.

Better with one.

CRM connection is an upgrade — not the entry point. Every rep can start from a CSV today.

Pipedrive
Phase 1 — Live
Individual reps connect themselves in 30 seconds using their personal API token. No admin involved.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is Triage?
Triage is an outbound preparation tool for sales reps and commercial teams. You upload a CSV of contacts, Triage researches each company automatically, and surfaces signal-driven hooks for your emails and calls. The rep decides what to say — Triage does the research.
Is Triage really free?
Yes. The free tier gives you 100 credits per month, CSV upload, domain scraping, MX record validation, and AI-generated hooks using Claude Haiku. No credit card required. Free forever — we charge when we add value beyond the baseline.
How is Triage different from Clay or Apollo?
Apollo finds contacts. Clay orchestrates data for RevOps teams. Triage preps the rep for the conversation — it takes a list you already have and makes every contact on it ready to reach out to in seconds. It is not a prospecting database and not a sequencing tool. Most teams use Triage alongside Apollo or their CRM, not instead of them.
What signals does Triage surface?
On the free tier: company homepage language, recent blog headlines, active job postings, and MX record provider — all pulled from public sources automatically. On paid tiers: People Data Labs enrichment (job title, seniority, tenure) and ZeroBounce SMTP email verification. LinkedIn activity signals via Proxycurl are coming on paid tiers.
Does Triage write the email for me?
Triage surfaces hook options — specific email openers and call angles based on what it found. You pick the angle that fits and write from there, or optionally use one credit to draft from a hook. The rep stays in control of the message. We believe AI should do the research; the rep should do the talking.
Do I need a CRM to use Triage?
No. CSV upload works on every plan with zero CRM required. Connecting Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce makes briefs richer (adds last-contact date and deal stage) and lets you push notes and tasks back to your CRM — but it is entirely optional and never required to get value.
How does the credit system work?
Each brief generation costs 1 credit. MX record checks, domain scrapes, and CRM pushes are always free. Free tier: 50 credits/month. Credits reset monthly and unused credits don't roll over. Purchased top-up credits never expire. Two-bucket system: monthly allocation and purchased credits tracked separately.
Is Triage GDPR compliant?
Yes. Triage is built GDPR-compliant from the ground up. Data is stored on EU-based Supabase (Ireland). CSV data is processed transiently and not stored permanently. We store contact IDs and scores, not raw contact objects. See our Trust Centre for the full data inventory and sub-processor list.
Does Triage work for students and graduates?
Yes. Students and recent graduates get 3× the monthly credits — 150 instead of 50 — free. Sign up with a @*.ac.uk or @*.edu email for instant verification. See the student programme page for details.
Can I refer other reps to get more credits?
Yes. Refer a rep, they sign up and complete onboarding, you both get 50 bonus credits added to your current month's allocation. Credits expire at month end — no rollover. No limit on referrals. See the referral programme for details.
